Big Brake Kits

Big brake kits work on the principle of leverage. By increasing the radius of your brake disc, you are increasing the leverage that the braking system has on the wheels. More leverage=more torque, and more torque=shorter stopping distances. In addition to increasing leverage your also increasing the clamping force on the rotor by adding pistons to the caliper that stock systems often lack. All of this results in shorter stopping distances, less brake fade and a better/more aggressive pedal feel, and often a reduction in unsprung weight. Another added side benefit is that they look a lot better than stock systems too!
