Brake Lines

The easiest upgrade to your braking system is stainless brake lines.

Stock systems use rubber hosing to connect your caliper to the aluminum feed line for your brake fluid. The major disadvantage to this is that rubber expands when exposed to high pressures. What a stainless brake line kit does is eliminate that expansion by wrapping Teflon hose in a mesh of stainless steel. Instead of the hose expanding and wasting energy, that energy is transmitted to the caliper and increases braking force instead. Stainless brake lines also increase pedal feel and resist chaffing much better that typical rubber lines.
