The all new Type-SS is the shortest variant in our shift knob line up providing a short-throw-like- sporty shifting experience. At 60mm in length, it's 10mm shorter the the Type-S but maintains the same screw thread surface contact length to ensure a secure fit.
Driving style, seating position as well as seat type can all affect which shift knob is right for you. For example the shortest, Type-SS, may be a great option for those swapping to a bucket seat or lowering seating position. The ergonomic cylindrical design makes the shift knob easy/comfortable to grip especially during extreme driving conditions. It's also much easier to push into gear when compared to spherical type shift knobs. These shift knobs are also sized to fit comfortable, even when using a racing glove.
The lightweight design also means less load on the shift collar/spacers, helping to increase the longevity of these parts. Tomei Shift knobs are made from DURACON which retains less heat and is also less reflective than materials such as aluminum, making these shift knobs usable even in extremely hot climates.

We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
