Cooling Plates

The flow of air is not only limited to the outside of a vehicle. To maximize cooling capabilities, a radiator needs a direct flow of air to allow the cooling system to maintain consistent temperatures on the race track or on the street. Because of structural gaps above the radiator, the flow of air could escape leading to a loss in cooling efficiency. Cooling plates eliminate that loss.
