Driveshafts

There are quite a few important advantages of upgrading your factory driveshaft. They are safety, power, and weight.

How do they give you more power? Simple, they wiegh less than factory driveshafts thereby reducing reciprocating mass. The less the engine has to move, the more power will be transmitted to the wheels. Also, by weighing less, the vehicle has less to lug around, giving you better acceleration and braking performance.

Aftermarket driveshafts are also built stronger than factory units. As with most manufacturers, they try to balance cost and performance. Cheaper materials are used, and weight, safety and power all suffer.
